THE BEST LOGISTICS OFFER IN SPAIN
ARAGÓN PLATAFORMA LOGÍSTICA represents a global logistics offer (infrastructures, training, research and services) which is available to any person, company or institution interested in making their business more competitive.
Because of its geo-strategic location, the availability of space, the concentration of business, intermodality and the ability to link corridors and routes, today Aragon is an internationally acknowledged logistics power.
Our potential goes way beyond having the largest amount of logistics land available in Europe, on developed, large sites with competitive, advanced, flexible infrastructures (km 0 air connection, railway terminal next to the logistics sites, highway links with the principal roadways) and efficient services under constant development. Aragon is also leader in innovation and technology, standing out as a home for talent specialising in logistics owing to the capability and commitment of public and private institutions in the Community, to drive development of the sector.
Some of the entities represented in this commitment by the Community, headed up by the Aragon Regional Government are:
The Logistics Platforms of Zaragoza, Huesca, Teruel, Fraga, Monzón, Zaragoza Maritime Terminal, Zaragoza and Teruel airports, Mercazaragoza, Aragón Exterior, Zaragoza Logistics Center Foundation, Aragon Technoogy Centers, the Logistics Innovation Cluster of Aragon, etc. All these public and private companies comprise connection points and synergies between the different projects and activities carried out by each of them, making interest in Aragon grow exponentially.
All of them have a common nexus: they are top level developed projects which, along with the advantages our Community offers in terms of competitiveness, labour costs, communications, development, geo-strategic location, etc., create real interest outside our borders.
These joint strengths make Aragon a European centre of reference in logistics excellence.
Over 1,700 available hectares of land, 80 connections per week by train and 21 flights per week from Zaragoza. Specialist R&D centres and advanced logistics training, supported by MIT and different European organisations.
The commitment by Aragon to the sector, under development for nearly two decades, is endorsed by the presence of 430 companies and 13,000 workers in the main logistics platforms. The presence of multinationals such as Inditex, B/S/H, Decathlon, Grupo Carreras, Porcelanosa, Mercadona, Grupo Sesé, Imaginarium, Kuehne & Nagel chose Aragon by firmly believing that it was the right project.
Since 2001 Aragon's commitment to logistics has been adapting to the new needs of companies today, which now compete on an international market with increasingly more demanding delivery lead times and quality of their services. The work carried out training their professionals and setting their sights on markets that are further and further away are differentiating values.
