Plaza takes part at the International Logistics Exhibition in Barcelona

With the aim of increasing its national and international presence, the Zaragoza Logistics Platform, PLAZA, is taking part from today to next Thursday at the 14th edition of the International Logistics and Material Handling Exhibition, held at the trade fair facilities in Gran Via, Barcelona. The event has consolidated as the leading trade fair in Spain and southern Europe in the logistics sector, as proved by the figures from the last edition in 2011, with regards number of participants and visitors: over 600 exhibiting companies and approximately 50, 000 visitors.
Zaragoza Logistics Platform, PLAZA, is present on a shared stand under the slogan “Transport and Logistics Centres” organised by the Spanish Association of Transport Centres. Transport Centres, Logistics Platforms, Logistics Clusters and Business Parks are represented in this communal space.
Over the last 14 years, Barcelona has consolidated as an annual meeting point in logistics, as an effective, profitable instrument to do business and make business contacts of all kinds. At SIL (International Logistics and Material Handling Exhibition), the represented sectors are as follows: 42% transport and logistics systems, infrastructures and real estate; 31% Telematics, e-business, telecommunications, IT solutions; and 27% storage, equipment, handling and packing.
40% of the participating companies are from Europe, Latin America and the Mediterranean region. At the last edition, the 10 main countries exhibiting at SIL were: France, Italy, Germany, Belgium, Portugal, Netherlands, Algeria, Argentina and Mexico.
