This week Walqa is presenting a new offer as part of its Advanced Education and Training Plan, organised by the Government of Aragon’s Department of Economy, Industry and Employment, through the Aragon Institute of Development (IAF) and directed mainly at companies located inside the Walqa science and technology park. In the space of two sessions, from 4pm to 9pm, the psychologists and professional coaches Adriana Marqueta and Charo Chueca will explain the basics of coaching in the workshop ‘Improve your personal and professional performance through coaching’.
By means of practical activities, students will work on different techniques first-hand in order to achieve better personal performance, and therefore be able to act more effectively in all areas of their lives. Likewise, group coaching will be touched upon through the principles of group relationships, and analysis will be made on how this affects the scope of success.
The Advanced Education and Training Programme began at Walqa in March. The next event will take place in September. This will include a workshop in which participants will discover ‘How to transform strategy into action and execute it effectively’, and in November there will a two-day training programme based on the combination of design thinking tools, ‘From the idea to the innovation project’, also to be held at Walqa.
More courses in the province of Huesca
Throughout the province of Huesca more than 400 business leaders are improving their knowledge and competitiveness thanks to the Advanced Education and Training Plan, organised by IAF in collaboration with different business associations. A total of 25 courses will be held in ten different fields of business management, at seven different localities: Fraga, Monzón, Aínsa, Barbastro, Graus, Binéfar and Huesca.
The education and training plan is part of the IAF’s ARAGÓN EMPRESA (Aragon business) programme and it is directed towards practical application by participants in the organisations where they work. For this purpose, the courses on offer comprise an educational part and consultancy, allowing for custom implementation of the previously acquired concepts by each company. The consultancy session is optional for each participant. All courses are delivered by professional experts.
