Change in the commercial approach
In December 2015 the Board of Directors of Suelo y Vivienda de Aragon approved a new commercial plan to boost the sale of industrial land, and through that, the growth of economic activity and job creation.
Results of the agreements reached by the aforementioned Board of Directors has seen an important increase in investment and activity at the Logistics Platform, and five transactions with companies in different sectors have been formalised. Three of them have started work on their facilities: an animal feed company on a site covering 8,400 square metres, with an investment of around ten million euros; a wood and cardboard packing factory for food products on a site covering 12,000 square metres, with an investment of around three million euros; and a fruit warehouse with an investment of around three million euros. Furthermore, a private sale and purchase contract has been signed for a plot covering 5,500 square metres with companies in the logistics sector, and a purchase option of 5,000 square metres has been signed with a company that is already established in PLFRAGA for future extension of its facilities.
When the work has been completed and these companies start business, over 100 new jobs will have been created in PLFRAGA: In 2016 the Logistics Platform became consolidated with the arrival of new investments, thanks to the efforts in the commercial strategy designed by the public company “Suelo y Vivienda de Aragon”, a company ascribed to the Corporación Empresarial Pública de Aragon, which offers products adapted to the needs of companies at competitive prices.
